Project Based Learning (PBL)

!Mpact People™ can train Agency Staff to enhance and strengthen their after school program by delivering engaging projects that support California Content Standards and 21st Century skills. Through intentional programming, the "driving" academic layer is supported by key design principles.

Agency Staff, like the students, will learn these techniques by doing original !Mpact People™ projects. By going through the PBL process, the Agency Staff will learn the techniques to innovate their own projects for the future.

Activity Based Learning™ (ABL)

!Mpact People™ understands that for over a decade there are traditional activities that have been drawing in the majority of students attending after school programs. In addition, !Mpact People™ is also aware that these activities are "rooted" with meaningful learning.

Through intentional programming, the "pre-existing" academic layer is brought to the surface by key design principles. By going through the ABL process, the Agency Staff will learn to “Cross-Walk” California Content Standards and 21st Century skills from traditional after school activities, such as:
